This Privacy Policy explains how TubeVerse.AI("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google.
• Usage data: the video URLs and search queries you submit, the tool outputs generated for you, and how many times you've used each tool.
• Payment data: if you purchase the Trial Pack, Basic, or Pro plan, payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves — Razorpay handles and stores that information under its own privacy and security practices.
• Technical data: standard technical information such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the summarization, curation, and clickbait-detection tools you request.
• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To track usage limits per tool across your active plan.
• To process and verify payments for the Trial Pack, Basic, and Pro plans.
• To maintain and improve the Service, and to detect abuse or technical issues.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google — sign-in authentication.
• Google Gemini API — generates summaries and analysis from video content.
• Razorpay — payment processing for paid plans (Trial Pack, Basic, Pro).
• Upstash (Redis) — stores usage counters and plan status.
• Our hosting provider — serves the application itself.

4. Data Retention

We retain account and usage records for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures — such as encrypted connections and access-controlled storage — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Your Rights

If you're in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) gives you the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data that we hold. You can exercise the erasure right yourself, immediately, without contacting us — go to Profile → Delete my account & data while signed in. This permanently removes your plan status and any feedback you've submitted from our systems. It does not affect your Google account itself — only what we store under it.

There is no free-tier retention exception — every plan, including the entry-level Trial Pack, requires a real, verified payment, so deleting and recreating an account gains nothing worth guarding against. Deletion removes your plan status, usage counters, any goodwill bonus uses, and any feedback you've submitted, in full. If you had an active paid plan at the time of deletion, that plan and its remaining period are forfeited immediately and are not retained or refunded.
